It is with great pleasure, that I am writing this letter of support and recommendation for Lee Simmons of the Sea Pines Real Estate group.

We worked with Lee to purchase our new home in Hilton Head Island almost one year ago. Our immediate and extended families had been coming to HHI for more than a decade and we decided it was time to make our move to begin the next phase of our life's journey and establish new roots in South Carolina.

Not only did Lee help us find our dream home - not easy given the tight real estate - but she was great at walking us through and managing every step of the process from inspections, to financing, to insurance, to banking- all with unflappable poise and grace to close without a hitch.

Through this process, Lee became more than our agent. She became our friend and first source of information for anything "HHI" related. Given her own journey, Lee knows so much about the Island, the places and the people. She is our first source for recommendations for restaurants for special occasions, stay at home pet sitters, interior decorators, and out of the way places that only the locals know. She has never steered us the wrong way.

We have moved more than twelve times over 33 years of being together. The fastest way we met people previously was through our four wonderful children, the local school, and work. Being empty nesters and working remotely, our biggest concern was how would we find a way to make HHI our new home for the future. Several months prior to our arrival on Hilton Head Island we started sending Paula Traver links to homes we liked on Zillow. We sent MANY links. We let Paula know the type of home we were looking for. The day after we arrived she had arranged for us to see approximately 8 homes, most of which interested us. The next day, another 8, including our dream home. We put in an offer that night after Paula came to us with the contract. She delivered the “earnest money” check to the lawyer. Our bid was accepted, and then Paula negotiated with the seller for us to purchaser the furniture. That, too, was accepted. Everything was so easy! Paula knows the ins and outs of living on Hilton Head Island, the plusses and minusus of the various “Plantations”. She is personable, a smart negotiator, and spent all the time needed with us. Paula made this major purchase so stress-free and easy!

Lee Simmons has been my realtor on multiple properties on Hilton Head as both a buyer and a seller. When looking at past real estate transaction experiences in other areas of the country, I can honestly say that Lee is the best realtor that I have worked with. I looked to her for advice on all areas to include but not limited to price, location, what I needed to do to my property to sell, what needed to be done to the property I wanted to purchase, etc. She connected me to people and businesses, that could help me during and after closing. Her network made each step in the process seamless. To Lee, every client is the most important client. She was available whenever I needed her and accommodated my schedule.
