When I think of horses and equestrian facilities, I think Sea Pines, Oldfield but mainly Rose Hill. We had a wonderful opportunity as Realtors to attend an open house presenting their new clubhouse. It was not renovated but a brand new building. Gorgeous back porch and inviting entryway, spacious bar and rooms that can be separate for different meetings. The 18-hole is a public course with daily fees. No mandatory membership for Rose Hill property owners. Rose Hill has a POA of $2200 which may seem high for some BUT consider all the amenities: Tennis with clay and hard surface courts, pickle ball, Equestrian Center with 50 fenced acres including a polo field. Colleton Point Pavillon with breathtaking views of the Colleton River, fishing dock, kayak racks, gazebo, meeting and event facility and even access to deep water (depending on tidal conditions). Also, three swimming pools, playground and the Bill Baker Park, another 50 acres dedicated to green space and lagoons on the Golf Side. A lot of options for active singles, couples, and families! Worth a look if beach oriented not a priority but the essence and richness of what Hilton Head was founded and created for fifty years ago is important to you. Would be happy to show you around this fabulous community and help you find the perfect home.
I took a video but could not upload to the blog but feel free to contact me for it.
Rose Hill Plantation has two 'sides' and POA allows ALL property owners to enjoy all their wonderful amenities.
The estate presently has 17 homes for sale ranging from $549,000 to $6,500,000 and
The golf side has 27 properties ranging $238,000 to $635,000.
