The Sea Pines Resort has invested heavily into their golf facilities over the recent years, in part, to become the world's premier destination for improving your golf game. It started with the legendary golf course designer, Pete Dye, building Heron Point, followed by the construction of the Plantation Golf Club, which won Golf Inc's 2015 New Clubhouse of the Year award. Then, Davis Love III designed and built his signature golf course, Atlantic Dunes, which won the National Golf Course Owners Association's prestigious 2018 National Course of the Year Award.
With new world-class golf facilities in place, The Sea Pines Resort developed and built The Golf Learning Center at the Plantation Golf Club. LINKS Magazine has honored it as a Top 10 Golf School in the U.S.. This is new multidimensional high tech teaching and learning facility, enables golfers of all skill levels to sharpen their game and take it to the next level. Here, you'll find the golf industry's leading teaching tools and equipment such as; Track Pro, SAM PuttLab, K-Vest and V1 Pro Software.
To bring all of this to life, The Sea Pines Resort hired some of the country's finest teaching pros, including, Tim Cooke, Director of Golf Instruction at The Golf Learning Center. He was recently named by Golf Magazine's list of Top 100 Teachers in America for 2017-2018. In 2009, Tim was awarded Master Professional in Instruction by The PGA of America.
The Sea Pines Resort also hired Dana Rader, an LPGA Master Professional. Dana has been listed in Golf Magazine's Top 100 Teachers in America every year since 1996. She's also been named 2003-2005, and 2008 to present, as Golf Digest Top 50 Greatest Teachers in America.
Because golf is a mental mindset as much as anything eles, Matt Cuccaro, was hired as the Director of Performance. He brings a wealth of experience in organizing the golfers mindset to excel both on and off the golf course. Rick Barry, an alumnus of Top 100 Teachers in America, and a host of professionally talented golf instructors are on staff and ready to help with personalized and group lessons.
